Flagship power catamaran to turn heads at Singapore Yacht Show

Queenslander-55Multihull Solutions is expecting strong attention at the 2015 Singapore Yacht Show from 23-26 April when it showcases the remarkable Queensland 55 by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts.

The Queensland 55 is the flagship of the shipyard’s power range and has garnered extensive international acclaim for its outstanding offshore performance, incredible fuel economy and range, and its superior levels of safety, luxury and comfort.

Multihull Solutions will be displaying Olga at the Singapore Yacht Show, a superb 2012 Queensland 55, which is available for sale through the company’s Brokerage division.

Olga features almost brand new Volvo IPS 600 main engines with joystick controls and third control station. The custom catamaran has four cabins, each with private ensuites plus crew quarters, and is comprehensively equipped for economical extended passage making with plenty of friends or family onboard. The catamaran also features extras including state-of-the-art electronics, large Onan generator, cockpit capstans, watermaker, air conditioning, inverter charger, icemaker, sat comms, leather interior, superior safety inventory, Bose Lifestyle systems, and much more.

The Queensland 55 is characterised by huge volumes with excellent use of space to enhance the social and relaxation aspects of cruising. Special features include a teppanyaki grille, capacious cockpit, enormous flybridge, huge choice of separate living areas, large swim platforms and much more.

Designed for extended cruising, the Queensland 55 is a veritable cruising apartment with generous saloon and dining areas, gourmet galley and navigation room. A product of the world’s most experienced architects and designers, the Queensland 55 excels in rugged conditions, absorbing big waves easily and covering long passages in a short time with a very modest fuel consumption. At anchor or underway, the catamaran is incredibly stable with no rolling.

The Queensland 55 is the largest of the shipyard’s power range, which also includes the new MY37, Summerland 40 and Cumberland 47 Long Range.
